STEP 1: Finish-sand following recommendations in Wood 101
STEP 2: Shake the Danish Oil container thoroughly. (Really shake it up and please make sure that the cap is securely in place before you shake.)
STEP 3: Apply Danish Oil to a small area to test the color. If you're happy with the look, move onto the next step. For this project, we used WATCO Danish Oil in Natural.
STEP 4: Flood the surface using a brush or cloth, applying additional finish to areas that absorb all of the liquid. Allow the Danish Oil to penetrate for 30 minutes.
